Quick Access Toolbar

References and smart formatting with one click

The Quick Access Toolbar is always available to you no matter which MS Word ribbon is currently in focus.  Hovering below the ribbon and recognizable via a BoostDraft logo, this toolbar can expanded or retracted via the ">" or "<" icon on the right most side of the toolbar.

Track backlinks in real-time

BoostDraft automatically computes and provides a quick reference to all the backlinks in the document for any given section.  This information will be updated in the toolbar based on the current cursor position. Expand backlink counter to reveal details on each backlink.

Change document author

The first thing you may notice on the toolbar is the current author name. You could change this author and all edits following will be recorded in the new author's name.  Changing past authors is also possible.  See Change author name for more details.

Insert /delete without breaking references *new*

Avoid manually updating section numbers in headings as well as section numbers in references when you insert or delete a clause.   Locate this function near the right hand of the toolbar.

Smart Formatting

Paste new text into the document without worrying about the dreaded manual formatting afterwards.  After pasting to a document, use the Smart Formatting to automatically adjust all font and spacing in the newly added text.  You could also individually choose the clause for the reference format.  Freely collaborate with others without worrying about individual formatting habits.

Create navigable outline with zero setup

Whether your document had an outline created for it through Word's outline function or not, BoostDraft can generate an agreement outline targeted at bringing navigational convenience to transactional documents.  Locate the button next to Smart Formatting on the toolbar.  Press it to create a traversable outline.  Each section can be expanded and clicking on a section navigates the cursor to it.
