Highlights

Identify terms, references, and errors easily

What does it do?

Terms, and clause references among others are highlighted in your document when you turn BoostDraft on.  By clicking on the highlighted text, the term or clause's definition will be revealed in a pop-up, eliminating the need to scroll through the document to find it.

Example 1: Reading the term definition within a pop-up.

Example 2: Reading the clause within a pop-up.

Pin the reference

Drag the pop-up anywhere within the Microsoft document window and it will continue to remain there until it is dimissed by clicking the "X" on the top right.  Pinning can also made by clicking the pin shaped icon on the right top of the pop-up window.  This is useful if you wish to refer to this text multiple times while you are working on the document.

Example: Pinning a term definition to the blank area in the document window.

Edit directly

You could make edits to a term definition or clause without scrolling back to it by using the "Direct Edit" function located on the bottom of the pop-up window.  Upon pressing "Apply changes", the relevant term or clause in that document will be edited.  When you are in Direct Edit mode, the pop-up window will behave like one that is pinned.  So you could freely move it about, and also remain in the editing mode in both the pop-up and Word document simultaneously.

Example: Enabling direct editing and then applying changes to document.
