Change your document's author name immediately or retroactively.

Expand BoostDraft's Toolbar.
2. The document's author (e.g. "John") should be displayed on the left side.
3. Clicking it reveals an instructional text to change the author.
4. Click on "Click HERE to change author name retroactively" to open the Change Author window.
Access to the feature is also available from the BoostDraft ribbon.

Merging multiple authors into one
1. In the Change Author window the default author will displayed first. Inserting a new author's name and pressing "Run" will change that author to the new one.
2. BoostDraft provides the ability to change multiple author names into a single one, so if want to merge multiple authors into one. Press "Add other author names..." to reveal a new line and select the author's name from the dropdown.
In case you wish to modify how the authors in Word's Track Changes are displayed based on when they were made, you could adjust the settings above the "Run" button to fit the process of your organization.
